A new state-of-the-art healthcare laboratory in Dubai, equipped with advanced AI systems for disease detection, was inaugurated by Awadh Seghayer Al Ketbi, the director general of Dubai Health Authority (DHA). The Premier Diagnostic Centre, located in Reef Mall in Deira, marks a significant advancement in medical technology and strengthens Dubai's position as a health tourism destination.

The use of AI in healthcare, as highlighted by the center, allows for early disease detection, enhancing accuracy and speed of diagnosis while reducing healthcare costs and burdens. AI can continuously monitor patient data, identifying anomalies that may indicate disease progression or recurrence.

Dr. Jamil Ahmed, founder and managing director of Prime Healthcare Group, emphasized DHA's support for the private healthcare sector's expansion and specialization, benefiting from Dubai's favorable investment climate in the healthcare sector. This collaborative effort between the public and private sectors aims to further enhance healthcare services and capabilities in the region.
