This state-of-the-art facility is equipped with advanced diagnostic technology aimed at reducing mobile phone e-waste, processing up to 7,000 devices daily and curbing CO2 emissions by 500,000 kilograms per day.

The technology not only promotes a circular economy by determining if devices can be refurbished or responsibly recycled but also enhances grading precision for resale.

The inauguration of the facility, conducted by Ammar Aboulnasr Basatne, the CEO of Basatne International, in the presence of Dr. Juma Al Matrooshi, Director General of Dubai Silicon Oasis, marks a significant step towards environmental sustainability. The company aims to extend the lifespan of mobile phones and reduce e-waste, aligning with global efforts to address the environmental impact of discarded devices.
