Meta and Amazon are among the employers with the most job listings referencing AI

Generative AI has led to a substantial increase in job opportunities, with 10,113 job postings related to generative AI in the past year, spanning various industries such as tech companies and education platforms. Surprisingly, even non-tech roles like curriculum writers are now seeking generative AI skills to create course materials using AI tools. This trend reflects a growing demand for generative AI skills across diverse job sectors, indicating an adaptation to new AI technologies in the workforce.

Several companies are actively recruiting for generative AI positions. Chegg, an education platform, has 377 job listings, including curriculum writers utilizing AI tools. Meta, known for AI chatbots and Smart Glasses, has 330 job openings, offering six-figure salaries. Capital One seeks to improve customer experiences through AI and has 305 job listings, while Pacific Northwest National Laboratory and Amazon are hiring for AI-related roles in fields such as cybersecurity and language models, with salaries exceeding $200,000. Accenture, Nvidia, Scale AI, and Cornerstone OnDemand are also actively recruiting AI talent to integrate generative AI into their operations and offerings.
