Collaboration between the Ministry of Education in the UAE and ASI to develop an AI-powered teacher
This collaboration aligns with the Ministry of Education's commitment to preparing students to face future challenges by integrating AI into education
The Ministry of Education (MoE) has entered into a strategic partnership with ASI (formerly Digest AI) to develop an AI-powered tutor (AI Tutor). ASI, a UAE-based educational technology company with a track record of success in AI-based tutoring solutions, was chosen as the partner.
The collaboration aligns with the MoE's commitment to enhancing the UAE's education system and preparing students for future challenges by incorporating AI into education. The MoE will support the implementation of the AI Tutor pilot program, providing access to educational content and curriculum guidelines, while ASI will customize the platform to align with the UAE's national curriculum and deploy the AI tutor in partnership with the ministry. The project is set to launch in December 2023.
Dr. Ahmad Belhoul Al Falasi, Minister of Education, emphasized the importance of staying up-to-date with technology, particularly AI, in education to improve learning experiences and innovation. ASI CEO and Founder Quddus Pativada expressed excitement about the partnership, aiming to empower millions of students with personalized AI tutoring. The project will follow a structured implementation plan, starting with development and culminating in a soft launch later in 2023.
