Berlin-based Empion, a provider of HR management software solutions, recently announced a successful seed round of funding, raising €6M. This funding milestone follows Empion's pre-seed financing round just a year ago, where they secured €2.4M from investors.

Founded in 2021 by Dr. Annika von Mutius and Dr. Larissa Leitner, Empion specializes in automated headhunting using AI technology and cultural matching to connect professionals with suitable companies based on skills and cultural fit. Their AI-based robo advisor quantifies relevant parameters to optimize talent-company matches, resulting in higher employee success rates, increased loyalty, and accelerated application processes.
