Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of The Executive Council, along with his role as Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Dubai Future Foundation (DFF), has given directives to organize the Global Prompt Engineering Championship in May 2024.

This significant competition, boasting a total prize of Dh1 million, will harness the power of Generative AI and is a partnership between DFF and the Dubai Centre for Artificial Intelligence. It will feature three main categories: literature, art, and coding, spanning two days. The championship aims to position Dubai and the UAE as a hub for Generative AI talent and innovation, aligning with the city's proactive approach towards digital transformation and fostering technological advancement.

Sheikh Hamdan emphasized Dubai's commitment to nurturing a programming community and fostering an environment conducive to AI growth. The championship is in line with Sheikh Mohammed's strategic directives to incorporate Generative AI solutions across various sectors in the UAE and Dubai, contributing to global leadership in digital transformation.

The competition also seeks to attract talent from around the world, encouraging innovation and advancements in programming, healthcare, legislation, arts, music, and content development through Generative AI tools.
