Leonardo.Ai, an AI art generation platform, secured $31 million in funding
This new funding will be used to hire more members for the company's sales and marketing team
Sydney-based startup Leonardo.Ai has successfully raised $31 million in funding from investors. Established just last year, the AI art production platform has rapidly gained popularity, boasting seven million users who have collectively generated over 700 million images. Leonardo.Ai recently introduced its enterprise version, which includes collaboration tools and private cloud hosting options. Enterprise users can access APIs to develop their tech infrastructure on top of the platform, starting with the production API. Targeting creative industries like gaming, advertising, fashion, and architecture, Leonardo.Ai empowers users to save, edit, and create multiple assets in the same style for reuse, along with the ability to build and train their own image generation models.
Originally conceived for game asset content creation, Leonardo.Ai expanded its platform to cater to a broader range of scenarios. The company's AI technology, based on open-source tools and trained using synthetic data and Creative Commons data, stands out by offering users a high degree of control. This funding will support Leonardo.Ai's expansion efforts, including the hiring of additional sales and marketing professionals and the growth of its engineering team, as it scales its enterprise product.
