MBZUAI highlights AI research at COP 28 conference
MBZUAI will showcase its cutting-edge research in the field of generative AI and large language models
Muhammad bin Zayed University for Artificial Intelligence "MBZUAI" has announced its participation in the Conference of the Parties (COP 28) to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change, organized by the Ministry of Education in the United Arab Emirates. The university's aim in participating in the conference is to shed light on the role of artificial intelligence in accelerating innovation and supporting the community in addressing the challenges of climate change.
The conference is expected to attract over 70,000 participants from various sectors. MBZUAI will present its research in areas such as generative AI, large language models, efficient operational artificial intelligence systems, remote patient monitoring technology, and AI-supported solutions for detecting and mitigating hidden risks and diseases in urban heat islands, among others. The university also highlights its leading role in developing the artificial intelligence ecosystem in the UAE and supporting the adoption of this technology to tackle climate challenges and achieve sustainability.
