The AI and Web 3.0 campus is a dedicated campus for innovation
Dubai is establishing a dedicated campus for cutting-edge technologies like artificial intelligence (AI) and Web3.0, with plans to attract over 500 companies and generate more than 3,000 job opportunities in the city by 2028. Mohammad AlBlooshi, the CEO of Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) Innovation Hub, highlighted the campus's alignment with Dubai's vision of becoming a global leader in AI and Web3.0. The Dubai AI and Web 3.0 Campus includes research and development facilities, accelerator programs, and collaborative workspaces to nurture and scale firms in the region.
DIFC, renowned for its independent regulatory system and English common law framework, houses a vast financial ecosystem with over 39,000 professionals in more than 4,900 registered companies, making it a hub of industry talent in the region. The DIFC Innovation Hub has been actively supporting startups in various sectors, including the metaverse and AI, to attract technology-driven companies to Dubai. The Dubai AI and Web 3.0 Campus marks a significant step toward Dubai's aspiration to be a preferred business destination for tech-focused firms, aiming to diversify investments in the region.
