Ozone, an AI-powered video editing platform, secured $7.1 million in funding
Ozone aims to provide professional-grade editing features
Ozone, the creator of an AI-powered collaborative video editing platform in the cloud, has successfully secured $7.1 million in seed funding and is now launching an open beta version of its software. Their primary goal is to empower content creators with AI assistance, enabling them to complete repetitive editing tasks in mere seconds rather than hours. Ozone's approach focuses on enhancing human creativity rather than replacing it, offering tools for more efficient and faster video content creation.
Founded in 2021 by Max von Wolff, Ozone boasts a video editor with an in-house AI assistant that suggests editing actions. Users can perform tasks such as removing silences, adding captions, animations, color correction, and incorporating music, all with AI assistance.
Ozone initially targets content marketers and creators producing short-form content for platforms like TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube. The company plans to expand its offerings to cater to creators of longer content, such as documentaries and films, as they add more advanced editing capabilities over time.
