The Bletchley Declaration emphasizes the importance of information sharing, transparency, and accountability in the AI field

Twenty-eight countries, including Saudi Arabia and the UAE, have signed the "Bletchley Declaration" to ensure the safe development and use of artificial intelligence (AI) technologies. The signing took place during the AI Safety Summit at Bletchley Park in London, with key participants like Abdullah Al-Ghamdi, president of the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority, and government ministers from various countries.

The declaration signifies a commitment by countries such as the UK, the US, the EU, and China to collaborate on responsible AI development, considering potential risks. The summit identified three key areas: assessing AI risks, creating national risk-based policies, and supporting international AI safety research. During the event, Al-Ghamdi held discussions with officials from different countries, focusing on AI cooperation, AI's role in achieving UN Sustainable Development Goals, and international AI ethics frameworks. These talks aimed to enhance collaboration aligned with Saudi Vision 2030.
