The National Transport and Logistics Strategy underlines ambitious goals, including doubling the sector's contribution to the GDP and elevating Saudi Arabia into the top 10 of the Logistics Performance Index. Key initiatives include increasing public transportation usage, reducing carbon emissions, expanding airport and port capacities, and enhancing safety measures in transportation. The introduction of autonomous mobility technologies, such as air taxis and autonomous pods, particularly in projects like NEOM and Red Sea Global, marks a significant step towards sustainable transportation.
