Saudi Arabia showcases AI-Powered smart townships at global event in Spain
The event will include sessions focused on the use of AI to reshape urban areas
Saudi Arabia is set to showcase its smart township achievements at the Smart City Expo World Congress in Barcelona from November 7-9, with the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA) leading the charge. SDAIA will highlight its role in deploying cutting-edge technologies to improve residents' quality of life and demonstrate its commitment to aligning with UN sustainable development goals and Saudi Vision 2030. They'll also feature their efforts in digital transformation, including the national smart cities platforms, Sawaher and Baseer.
The event will host sessions on urban transformation through AI, featuring industry experts like Yasser Al-Onaizan, Christina Yan Zhang, Patricia Molina, Greg Wilson, and Charbel Aoun. Additionally, there will be sessions on "Smart Governance Responding to Citizen’s Needs" and the evolution of modern urban living. The Smart City Expo World Congress is a global gathering dedicated to urban innovation, attracting over 25,000 participants from 140 countries.
