Today, the first national data index (Nadeea) was launched in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, in a joint initiative by the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA) and the National Transformation Program. This index represents a significant milestone aimed at enhancing transparency, developing a data-driven national economy, and providing accurate assessments of data management maturity within government entities. This historic announcement was made during the Saudi Data Forum in the presence of high-ranking officials and relevant authorities.

Furthermore, an enhanced version of the Open Data Platform was also unveiled, allowing individuals and organizations to publish and utilize open data to create new products and services that contribute to boosting the digital economy in the Kingdom. Additionally, the Data Governance Platform was launched with the goal of supporting organizations in complying with personal data protection regulations and safeguarding data privacy. These steps align with the implementation of Vision 2030 and the National Transformation Program, contributing to achieving digital transformation and the development of the national economy.
