Singapore stands out as the world's frontrunner in swiftly adopting artificial intelligence (AI) skills, as unveiled by LinkedIn's recent Future of Work report. The report, which aggregated data from 25 nations, revealed that Singapore boasts the highest "diffusion rate" – a metric indicating the proportion of members adding AI skills to their profiles. The rate surged 20 times from January 2016, markedly surpassing the global average of eight times.

Following Singapore, Finland (16x), Ireland (15x), India (14x), and Canada (13x) secured positions in the top five countries with the highest AI skills diffusion rates. Experts attribute Singapore's success to its robust digital infrastructure, strong intellectual property protection, and a thriving ecosystem of venture capital support that nurtures AI innovation.
