A memorandum of understanding has been signed between the Office of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Economy and Remote Work Applications and the "Code.org" organization with the aim of enhancing cooperation in the fields of technology, developing technological solutions, and computer science in the UAE.

This partnership aims to strengthen digital infrastructure and build national and global skills in technology, encouraging the exchange of expertise and participation in joint projects. This agreement is part of the efforts of the UAE government to enhance partnerships with leading companies in the fields of programming and technology.

Furthermore, the agreement aims to raise societal awareness about the importance of programming and computer science through the global "Hour of Code" campaign. The organization and the Office of Artificial Intelligence will work together to support this campaign and organize awareness-raising events to promote a coding-savvy community in the UAE and build a globally competitive knowledge-based society.
