The Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs has launched an AI project aimed at improving the efficiency of its administrative departments. In the initial phase, the project focuses on updating job description cards for employees, with the goal of reducing the time, effort, and costs involved. The project also includes creating training courses for Ministry employees, specifying their roles and responsibilities, and helping them achieve their career objectives. This effort is expected to enhance career development plans and boost employee job satisfaction. The Ministry collaborated with Qatar IT to create a specialized website called "Awqaf Job AI" to facilitate the use of AI tools for updating job descriptions, adding required skills, and identifying necessary training courses for various positions within the Ministry.
The Artificial Intelligence Programme successfully updated job description cards for specialized positions in four key departments: Human Resource, Internal Audit, Planning and Quality, and Haj and Umrah. The "Awqaf Job AI" website simplifies job searches, data extraction from Excel files, and management of skills, training needs, and a master database. Qatar IT has also configured the system for future integration of AI programs in the project's next phases, demonstrating a commitment to ongoing AI-driven improvements in administrative processes.
