ChatGPT can now browse the web using the Bing browser

The "Browse with Bing" feature is available to Plus and Enterprise subscribers

OpenAI has officially introduced its internet-browsing feature to ChatGPT. ChatGPT, the widely popular AI chatbot, was initially limited to data up to September 2021, making it unsuitable for real-time web searches.

OpenAI began incorporating internet services into ChatGPT in March, despite the inherent risks associated with unfiltered web content. In May, web search through Bing was introduced, followed by access on the ChatGPT mobile app in June. However, it was temporarily withdrawn due to issues with paywalled content.

In late September, OpenAI relaunched the "Browse with Bing" feature, promising adherence to site-owner instructions, and it is now available to Plus and Enterprise subscribers without the need to enable beta settings.
