OpenAI attributes this revival to valuable user feedback, making improvements such as adhering to robots.txt rules and identifying user agents to allow websites control over ChatGPT's interactions.

This enhancement empowers ChatGPT to provide current and authoritative information, a significant advantage for tasks requiring up-to-date data. However, it is currently available exclusively to ChatGPT Plus users and will expand to all users soon. To activate this feature, users must select "GPT-4" and then "Browse with Bing."
