Google has unveiled a new category of Chromebook Plus series, which comes with notably more powerful setups compared to regular Chromebooks. The Plus series will feature at least 12th Gen Intel Core i3 or a new generation of chipsets.

Google is focusing on the AI aspect to improve the Chromebook Plus series. Google is bringing the Pixel phone's AI-powered camera feature, Magic Eraser, to the Google Photos app for the Chromebook Plus series. This feature allows users to easily remove unwanted distractions from pictures, and the app intuitively offers smart suggestions on what can be done to improve the scene.

Additionally, the Chromebook Plus will support new video conferencing tools powered by ChromeOS’s built-in machine-learning tech to enhance clarity and lighting during virtual sessions, and it will also support new noise-canceling and background blur features to protect privacy. Google has promised to bring more new features in 2024, including an AI-powered content creator.
