Google Lens is now available in Arabic through Bard AI

Arabic users can now upload images with Google Lens, receive image-based responses

Google has unveiled new enhancements for its Bard artificial intelligence (AI) tool, incorporating the capabilities of image recognition technology from Google Lens. These updates aim to make Bard more accessible and useful, particularly for Arabic speakers. Arabic users can now upload images with Google Lens, receive image-based responses, and customize Bard's answers. Google emphasizes that Bard is powered by the advanced language model 'PaLM2,' improved based on user feedback to offer more intuitive and high-quality responses across languages. This update expands Bard's features beyond English to over 40 languages and introduces new capabilities.

The enhancements include the ability to use images in prompts, modify Bard's responses with five options, incorporate images into responses for better understanding, and maintain ongoing conversations with Bard. Additionally, Bard can now connect to various Google apps and services, such as Gmail, Docs, Drive, Maps, and YouTube. Google expresses its commitment to continually improve Bard, with a particular focus on enhancing its capabilities for Arabic speakers. Bard, Google's generative AI experiment, initially launched in English and has since expanded to over 40 languages, including Arabic, enabling users to simplify complex content for greater productivity.
