Dubai, renowned as one of the world's safest cities, is set to reinforce its security through innovative policing strategies. The Dubai Police will introduce fully autonomous AI-equipped vehicles that conduct facial scans and scan vehicle number plates, promptly alerting authorities when necessary. These vehicles will traverse community areas, identifying wanted individuals, unregistered vehicles, and visa overstays, enhancing road safety.

Named MO2 and showcased at the Dubai Police stand during the ongoing Dubai Airshow 2023, these AI-driven vehicles specialize in surveillance and reconnaissance. They feature facial and car number plate recognition technology, a 360-degree camera view, and motion detectors. The system also alerts police in case of suspicion, enabling swift deployment of additional police vehicles to specific locations.

Manufactured in collaboration with Micropolis Robotics, MO2 can operate for up to 16 hours, signifying a significant advancement in Dubai's patrolling capabilities, with plans for imminent deployment. This development is poised to revolutionize the city's policing system, ensuring Dubai remains a secure haven for residents and visitors alike.
